The Station has been lighting up the South Perth hospitality scene since opening its doors in December 2023. From Nokturnl, the team behind Stories, The Beaufort, Lotus & The Old Synagogue and Tonic + Ginger, The Station is a 250-seat modern gastro pub where great food, drinks and an unforgettable atmosphere come together.

And now there is even more happening under the roof.

BANGLA is our bold new Asian dining experience, bringing something completely different to the South Perth scene.

Inspired by the vibrant energy, fragrant flavour and sensory chaos of Asia’s greatest dining districts, BANGLA is a bold new Asian dining experience bringing big flavour, electric energy and a little late-night mischief to South Perth.

With two very different hospitality experiences operating side by side, this is a fast-paced environment with plenty to learn, lead and get excited about.

We are now on the hunt for an experienced, high-calibre Duty Manager to join our team and become a key part of the next chapter at The Station.

Your primary focus will be overseeing The Station's busy day-to-day services, ensuring the venue operates smoothly and our high standards are maintained across breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You will also work closely with the BANGLA Restaurant Manager, providing management oversight and support across the wider venue when required. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be part of a dynamic operation without losing focus on their core venue.

As Duty Manager, you will be more than someone who simply runs a shift.

You will help drive our vision, lead and mentor the team, set the standard for service and keep the operation moving when things get busy. You will be a visible and influential member of the management team with the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the way we operate.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Future team members will be aligned with our vision and demonstrate:

- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar Supervisor or Duty Manager role
- Strong understanding of venue operations and legal compliance
- Service at the heart of everything you do with a genuine focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- A charismatic, energetic personality with a strong desire to succeed
- The ability to lead by example while maintaining high standards of professionalism and presentation
- Confidence in performance management, coaching and mentoring team members when required
- A positive, respectful and hands-on management style
- Excellent communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills
- The ability to stay calm, organised and solutions-focused during busy services
- Flexible availability
- Current WA RSA certificate
- Current Approved Manager card
- Full Australian working rights
