About the role
We're looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to take full ownership of minimax.com.au and our online marketplace channels. Accountable for growth, profitability and the systems and data that connect our website, ERP/POS and fulfilment network across all stores. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who can trade a site commercially, lead a team, and get genuinely into the technical detail, not just sit above it.
You'll own the e-commerce P&L;, not just the traffic numbers, and you'll be central to our omnichannel strategy as we scale.
Key responsibilities
- Own the e-commerce P&L;: sales, gross margin, contribution margin and fulfilment cost, and manage the annual budget and forecast with Finance and the CEO
- Manage day-to-day trading and merchandising of minimax.com.au: range, pricing, content, categorisation and conversion rate optimisation
- Lead SEO and SEM strategy, agency relationships, paid media performance and product feed management
- Lead the e-commerce customer service and fulfilment team, including workload planning and performance
- Own fulfilment performance, despatch time, cost per parcel and service benchmarks
- Manage the integration architecture connecting our ERP/POS, Shopify, fulfilment and the technical component of a loyalty system across all stores, including data integrity and issue resolution
- Deliver monthly reporting on key digital and omnichannel performance metrics to the CEO and leadership team
- Develop the e-commerce annual business plan and roadmap, backed by quantified, margin-focused business cases
About you
- Substantial experience managing an e-commerce channel end-to-end, including P&L; accountability
- Experience in a multi-store retail environment where online and physical stores share stock, customers and fulfilment
- Strong hands-on Shopify experience (admin, APIs, apps) and confidence working across ERP/POS integrations and data
- Strong analytical capability, confident in Excel/SQL and comfortable challenging a number rather than accepting a dashboard
- Experience managing agencies, vendors and a small internal team
- Clear written communicator, from technical specifications through to leadership
- Genuine curiosity for exploring how AI can lift productivity and performance, with the confidence to bring new opportunities and innovation to the CEO
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, commerce, information systems or a related field
