About the role

Launch your career and join our supportive team delivering patient-centred care providing physiotherapy assessment, treatment, education and health promotion to neonates, women, children and adolescent. This position is a part of the Physiotherapy Department rotating staff system and may work across all areas of the health service with opportunities to develop your skills.

Key duties of the role

Assess, analyse and interpret patient presentations





Select appropriate management techniques including appropriate education, instruction and documentation for patients, families and other professionals

Attendance and active participation at ward rounds, clinical meetings and case conferences

Contribute to the planning and evaluation of physiotherapy and multidisciplinary services

Identify and manage risk within the area of responsibility

Skills and Experience

Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.

Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work under defined timeframes and to demonstrate effective time management.

Knowledge of relevant community resources related to the health and welfare of adolescents, children, and their caregivers.
