We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of children in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs that support children's learning and development.
- Provide a safe, caring and inclusive environment for all children.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through engaging learning experiences.
- Observe and document children's progress and contribute to developmental records.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times, rest periods and hygiene practices.
- Participate in team meetings, training and professional development activities.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming learning environment.
About you
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent qualification.
- Current Working with Children Check (NSW).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Minimum 1 years of experience working as a Childcare Educator / Child Care Worker.
- Previous experience working in a long day care or early learning environment.
- Knowledge of child development and inclusive education practices.
