A Magical Time Children’s Centre is a small, locally owned and operated child care centre with amazing children, families and educators.

Our centre prides itself on being family‑orientated and our educators are truly part of our A Magical Time family. We work over ratio every day and offer mentor programs to support each and every one of our educators.

We are searching for a highly self‑motivated, enthusiastic and fun person to join our team. We currently have two positions available:

- Trainee (Certificate III)
- Diploma‑qualified or experienced Certificate III Educator

Essential Criteria

- A big smile that will brighten a child’s day.
- Throughout the course of the day, you will have to multi task and be prepared to perform many different roles - for example if a child requests you to be a disney princess, then you must have the ability to be the best princess that you can be and/or you may be required to make a cup of tea using sand and water and act that it is the best tea in town while you pretend to drink it.
- The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune in front of a group of tiny humans is essential!
- Big warm hugs and plenty of love to share.
- Eyes in the back of your head are absolutely essential.




- You must have the ability to read a story book upside down and after at least 5 interruptions per page be able to pick up where you left off (or make up a realistic ending that can convince some of the smartest 4 year olds in town).
- A willingness to engage in fun, messy, creative play every day.
- The best part, you will make wonderful friends with our amazing team and no two days are ever the same.
- A current Working With Children Check.
- For the educator position: Diploma in Children’s Services or Certificate III with experience.
- For the trainee position: willingness to complete a Certificate III traineeship.
