Right now, we’re looking to connect with Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs) across the Cessnock and Maitland areas for multiple upcoming opportunities.
We’re not looking for just anyone with an ECT qualification.
We want to hear from people with the attitude, curiosity, and drive to become exceptional educators.

The Opportunities
We’re currently recruiting for multiple ECT positions across Cessnock, Maitland and surrounding areas.
Individual hours,
locations and remuneration packages will vary between opportunities, so we’re keeping this deliberately open.
What matters first is finding great ECTs and understanding what the right opportunity looks like for you.
About YouYou’ll ideally have
- An ACECQA-recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or be working towards completion
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative approach to working within a team
- A commitment to continuous improvement and quality practice
- A current NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one
Most importantly, we’re looking for people who want to contribute, learn and create a great environment for children and the people around them. Child SafeguardingWe’re looking for individuals who understand, adhere to and promote the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and actively contribute to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
Child safeguarding methods include, but are not limited to:
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
- Thorough screening
- Reference checks
- National criminal history check
