Don Hall Air Conditioning & Electrical is looking for new team members to join our growing business for an immediate start.
We currently have three positions available:
QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN
We are looking for a qualified Electrician to carry out a variety of residential and commercial electrical work across the Cairns region.
This position would also be a great opportunity for an Electrician wanting to gain more experience in the air conditioning industry, broaden their skills and expand their qualifications, working alongside our experienced refrigeration and air conditioning team.
Work may include
- Residential and commercial electrical work
- Electrical installations, repairs and maintenance
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Electrical work associated with air conditioning installations
- Preventative maintenance
- Working independently and alongside our refrigeration team
Air conditioning experience is highly regarded but not essential.
Applicants must hold a current QLD Electrical Licence and driver's licence.
REFRIGERATION & AIR CONDITIONING MECHANIC
We are looking for a qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic to carry out residential and commercial work throughout the Cairns region.
Work may include
- Air conditioning servicing and repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Air conditioning installations
- Preventative maintenance
- Residential and commercial air conditioning work
- Working independently and alongside our electrical team
Applicants must hold relevant current QLD trade qualifications/licences and a driver's licence.
TRADE ASSISTANT
We are also looking for a reliable and practical Trade Assistant to work alongside our Electricians and Refrigeration Mechanics.
This position would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work and is interested in gaining experience within the air conditioning and electrical industry.
Duties may include
- Assisting tradespeople with air conditioning installations
- Assisting with residential and commercial jobs
- Preparing and carrying tools, equipment and materials
- General workshop and site duties
- Helping tradespeople as required
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas
Previous trade, construction or air conditioning experience would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person.
A current driver's licence is required.
