About the role: The Energy Consultant is responsible for driving business growth by developing and managing recent and existing client relationships within the commercial and industrial energy market for Amanda Energy, now part of Perdaman. The role will focus on selling natural gas, electricity, solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and related energy solutions for Amanda Energy. This position plays a key role in supporting businesses to reduce energy costs and transition towards renewable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities:

- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in the commercial and industrial energy sector.

- Conduct consultations to assess customer energy needs and present tailored, cost-effective solutions.

- Analyse customer consumption data using Amanda Energy's Price Retail Model software and other analysis software.

- Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts that align with client requirements and organisational objectives.

- Negotiate and close sales with business decision-makers and key stakeholders.

- Manage and maintain a qualified sales pipeline through effective use of CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.

- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation of energy solutions and effective handover to account management.

- Stay informed on energy market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.

- Work with the CRM to execute sales and growth strategies,



including targeted campaigns and sector-specific initiatives.

- Attend industry networking events to identify prospects and build the company's presence in the market.

Required Qualification & Experience:

- At least 2 years Business to Business (B2B) sales experience with a proven track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

- Prior knowledge of Western Australia’s business electricity and gas retail sectors will be beneficial. Industry training will be provided.

- Experience within the Australian electricity, gas and solar retail sector will be beneficial.

- Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and drive growth in the energy sector.

- Proven knowledge of customer relationship management including identifying customer needs, meeting expectations and evaluating satisfaction.

- Demonstrated ability to implement sales strategies.

- Excellent communications skills including the ability to convey information in an effective and concise manner and prepare and present reports.

- Ability to manage and educate customers and maintain a professional relationship.

- Ability to negotiate desired outcomes with customers and stakeholders.

- Excellent customer service skills with an ability to work independently, within a team environment, and with a wide range of customers.

- Strong administration skills – organised, thorough and excellent attention to detail.

- Current and valid driver's licence in WA.
