About the Role:

We're looking for experienced Building Supervisors and Estimators to join a well-established insurance building and restoration business, working across a range of insurance building projects.

Depending on the role, you'll be involved in assessing property damage, preparing scopes and estimates, coordinating trades and repairs, liaising with insurers and customers, and helping ensure each job is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of insurance building projects from commencement through to completion

- Interpret consultant scopes and prepare detailed scopes of works when required

- Prepare quotations and work with Supervisors to achieve agreed project budgets

- Liaise with clients, insurers and key insurance industry stakeholders throughout the project





- Build and maintain strong relationships with key insurance personnel

- Coordinate property access with insured parties

- Liaise with and engage subcontractors during the quotation and delivery stages

- Engage, coordinate and manage trades, including negotiating works and tracking job progress

- Manage project issues and disputes to ensure works continue efficiently

- Ensure all works comply with legislative, contractual and OHS requirements

- Ensure inspections, certificates and all relevant project documentation are completed and signed off, with regular travel across Brisbane and surrounding areas

Key Selection Criteria:

Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy? Being able to demonstrate and highlight examples of these are the key criteria for you to be successful in joining our existing talented and passionate team. The following selection criteria is also important, but we are happy to teach and mentor you along the way.

- Building Trade or Construction Qualification

- Insurance Building background advantageous, however not essential

- Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities

- Excellent communication, customer service & relationship building skills

- Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client

- Understanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations
