We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst – Procurement to join a Queensland public sector organisation and support the delivery of procurement intelligence, reporting and data-driven insights across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Analyse and interpret procurement, supplier and organisational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities

• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, forecasts and business intelligence outputs

• Use advanced Excel, data modelling and database interrogation techniques

- Extract, analyse and incorporate relevant data into reporting and management information
- Support procurement planning, spend analysis, supplier performance and category management activities
- Develop data and system requirements aligned to operational and strategic objectives
- Lead or contribute to procurement BI and data management projects




- Conduct benefits analysis and provide evidence-based recommendations

• Support SharePoint development and data/document management practices

- Build solid relationships with business stakeholders and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

About you: You will have strong data analysis and reporting experience, with demonstrated capability in Power BI, Excel, databases and data modelling . Experience within procurement, commercial analytics, financial analysis, supplier management or category management will be highly regarded. You will also have strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
