This is a hands-on role delivering plants, pots, garden products and other nursery items to residential and commercial customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering orders safely and efficiently across Sydney, managing vehicle loading and unloading, and providing professional customer service at every delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering plants, pots, garden products and other nursery items safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring products are secured correctly for transport
- Carefully handling plants and fragile pots to minimise damage during loading, transport and delivery
- Delivering orders to residential and commercial customers across Sydney
- Assisting customers with unloading and positioning plants, pots and products where required
- Checking orders and delivery paperwork for accuracy
- Providing friendly, professional customer service at every delivery
- Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and general condition of the delivery vehicle
- Assisting with general nursery duties when required between deliveries
- Working closely with the retail and nursery teams to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time
About you
- Has previous delivery driving experience
- Holds a current and appropriate Australian driver's licence
- Has excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of road safety
- Is physically fit and comfortable lifting, carrying and moving plants, pots and garden products
- Takes pride in handling customers' purchases carefully
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is reliable, punctual and well presented
- Can work independently and manage a daily delivery schedule
- Is comfortable working outdoors in a physically active role
- Has good attention to detail and takes responsibility for getting deliveries right
