THE ROLE

With a robust pipeline of projects progressing into delivery, Blackburne is seeking an experienced Development Manager to join our Developments team and help deliver some of Perth's most prestigious premium living projects.

Working across the delivery phase of major developments, you will take ownership of key project outcomes and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure programme, cost, quality and commercial objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities will include

- Managing projects through design development, procurement, construction, completion and handover.
- Taking ownership of project programmes, budgets, risks and key development milestones.
- Working closely with builders, architects, engineers, consultants and other project stakeholders throughout delivery.
- Reviewing and coordinating design documentation to ensure development objectives and project requirements are achieved.
- Monitoring construction progress and proactively identifying and resolving delivery issues.
- Managing consultant scopes, appointments,



deliverables and performance.
- Managing project budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
- Preparing development reports, recommendations and updates for senior management.
- Coordinating with Blackburne's sales, marketing, finance and property teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Managing authority, statutory and development approval matters as required.
- Overseeing completion, settlement and handover activities.
- Providing guidance and support to junior members of the development team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded development professional with a strong track record in delivering high-quality property projects.

You will ideally

- hold a relevant tertiary qualification;
- have at least five years' relevant property development experience;
- have experience delivering multi-residential, mixed-use or similarly complex projects;
- possess strong commercial judgement and problem-solving skills;
- be a confident communicator and stakeholder manager; and
- be proactive, accountable and comfortable taking ownership of project outcomes.
