Position: Qualified Educator – Potential Room Leader

Status: Permanent Full-Time

Qualifications: Working towards Diploma, Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)

Hourly Rate: $40.14 (Base hourly rate inclusive of Worker Retention Payment and $2 remote allowance) plus $11.48 per hour Regional Locality Allowance* and superannuation

One Tree Mangkurla-Ngaarntu Maya Children’s Service is a community-focused service located in Pannawonica, a close-knit community in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, where relationships with children, families and community are an important part of what we do.

With more children joining our service, we’re growing our team and looking for a Qualified Educator with the potential to step into a Room Leader role.

We’re looking for someone with at least two years’ experience in Early Childhood Education and Care who is motivated, confident using their initiative and ready to get involved across the whole service.

You’ll be someone who loves having fun with children, enjoys being part of a team and genuinely wants to connect with families and the local community. Depending on your qualifications and experience, there may also be an opportunity to take the next step into Room Leader responsibilities.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience within Early Childhood Education and Care
- Working towards a Diploma, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
- Solid knowledge of EYLF, NQS and MTOP
- Ability to use initiative and contribute positively across the service
- Motivated, engaged and willing to get involved
- A fun and positive approach to working with children
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with children,



families, colleagues and community
- Commitment to creating a culturally safe and inclusive environment
- Genuine interest in engaging with and becoming part of the local community
- Ability to support and guide other educators where required
- Commitment to children’s rights and high-quality outcomes
- Ability to work respectfully within a culturally diverse community

Requirements

- Eligible to work in Australia or meet requirements for employer sponsorship
- Willing to relocate to Pannawonica
- Working towards a Diploma, Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant early childhood experience
- Current WA Working with Children Check
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to undertake Responsible Person and First Aid Officer responsibilities
