We are looking for a reliable, flexible and proactive Support Worker to support a 16-year-old participant and assist within the family home.

The role will vary depending on what is needed on the day, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking initiative and helping where needed. Duties may include cleaning and household organisation, meal preparation/cooking, and transporting the participant to appointments or community activities.

There is no strict routine for each shift, so flexibility and the ability to adapt to the participant and family's needs are important.

Shift: Once per week, Friday or Saturday

Hours: Approximately 6 hours, across the morning/afternoon

Future hours: Chance for additional shifts may become available

Applicants must hold a full driver licence and have access to their own reliable vehicle.

We’re looking for someone dependable, respectful and easy to get along with who can provide practical support while helping create a comfortable and positive environment for the participant and his family.

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 per week
