HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced Despatch Coordinator for a casual opportunity based in Truganina, VIC.

This is a fantastic prospect to join a logistics and distribution environment, coordinating outbound deliveries across Metro, Regional, Interstate, and International locations. You'll play a key role in ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and on time while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse and transport function.

About the Role As a Despatch Coordinator, you will:

- Coordinate outbound orders and deliveries across Metro, Regional, Interstate, and International locations.
- Manage same-day dispatch requirements for orders received.
- Liaise with transport providers, drivers, warehouse staff, and internal stakeholders.
- Schedule and monitor daily dispatch activities to ensure on-time delivery.
- Process shipping documentation and freight bookings.
- Use warehouse and logistics systems to manage orders and dispatch information.
- Maintain compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
- Support warehouse operations as required.
- Assist with forklift operating duties when operational needs arise.

About You To be successful, you will have: Mandatory Requirements

- Current LF Forklift Licence and Forklift Experience.




- Current Full Driver Licence.
- Experience in dispatch, logistics, warehousing, transport coordination, or distribution.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong understanding of WHS practices.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
- Knowledge of Melbourne and Victorian suburbs and transport routes.
- Flexible and team-focused approach.

Desired Experience & Skill

- Experience coordinating deliveries and freight movements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Leadership or team coordination experience.
- Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
- Light Rigid (LR) Licence highly regarded but not essential.
- Willingness to assist with driving duties when required.
