Female Disability Support Worker – Clyde North & Surrounds

You & Me Disability Pty Ltd is looking for a compassionate, reliable and energetic Female Disability Support Worker to join our growing team.

We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys supporting people, is confident working with children and participants with complex needs, and can provide consistent, person-centred support.

Shifts Available

We are looking for someone with flexibility to work:

- Before-school shifts
- After-school shifts: 2:30pm–9:30pm (7-hour shifts)
- Weekend shifts: Flexible hours
- Additional shifts may become available as our team continues to grow

About the Role You will support NDIS participants to work towards their individual goals while promoting independence, dignity, choice and community participation.

Your responsibilities may include

- Personal care and daily living support
- Community access and social activities
- Supporting participants to develop independence and life skills
- Following Behaviour Support Plans and individual support strategies
- Supporting participants who may display behaviours of concern
- Maintaining a protected, calm and positive environment
- Completing accurate progress notes and required documentation
- Providing clear communication and handovers to the team
- Working collaboratively with participants, families and other support workers

Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern




- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable and appropriately insured vehicle
- Ability to follow support plans, behaviour strategies and workplace procedures
- Strong reliability, professionalism and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends

Desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or equivalent
- Previous experience supporting children
- Experience supporting participants with complex needs, Autism, intellectual disability and/or behaviours of concern
- Positive Behaviour Support experience or training
