Located on 80 acres of landscaped grounds in the heart of Cowes, our Adventure Resort accommodates over 600 guests and features modern facilities, air-conditioned rooms with ensuites, and an impressive range of onsite activities including flying foxes, ropes courses, pools, archery, canoeing and more.

Our Food & Hospitality department supports large-scale catering across the site, operating two fully equipped commercial kitchens, a campground kitchen and multiple all-weather BBQ areas, servicing schools, community groups, churches, corporates and holiday programs.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, reliable and hands-on Kitchen Attendant to join our culinary team. This role plays an important part in supporting our chefs and ensuring our kitchens operate efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

You’ll assist with food preparation and service,



maintain excellent kitchen hygiene during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a clean, organized and well-functioning kitchen setting
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment to required standards
- Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, including basic prep and assembly
- Support meal service at designated meal times
- Assist with waste management and cleaning of all kitchen surfaces
- Follow all food safety, health and workplace safety guidelines
- Provide guidance and positive support to other kitchen attendants as required

About You

Personal attributes:

- A positive team player with good communication skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness
- Reliable, adaptable and flexible with shifts (including some evenings and weekends)
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential — training will be provided

Essential requirements:

- A Victorian employee Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid rights to work in Australia
