About the role

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Technical Services Engineer to join our Pilbara business, having a preferred base in Perth, with regular travel to our Pilbara operations, providing hands‐on support across the region.
n
This is a highly technical, customer‐facing role focused on delivering advanced drill and blast support, including blast design and Electronic Blasting Systems (EBS). You will play a pivotal part in supporting customer operations, improving blast outcomes, and implementing cutting‐edge blasting technologies across mine sites.
n

What you will be doing
n
n
- Support the delivery of technical blasting projects that add value to customer operations;
n
- Assist with blast design and on‐site technical support, including EBS systems;
n
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to coordinate and execute projects;
n
- Build strong, cooperative relationships with site stakeholders;
n
- Provide guidance and support on blasting practices and product application;
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across blasting operations;
n
- Actively develop your technical capability through training and practical experience.

What you will bring
n
n
- Experience in shotfiring, drill & blast, or mining operations, OR a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Mining Engineering or similar);
n
- Understanding of blasting principles or mining processes (open cut experience beneficial but not essential);
n
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork;
n
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and build technical expertise;
n
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in dynamic site environments;
n
- Good communication skills and a customer‐focused mindset;
n
- Awareness of environmental considerations such as vibration, dust, and noise (advantageous but not required).
