You'll gain valuable workplace experience, develop your financial and customer service skills, and complete a Certificate III in Business while earning a full-time wage.

Location - Northwest South Australia

The position will be based within a Business Centre in Northwest South Australia, with opportunities available across:

- Gawler
- Kadina
- Clare
- Port Lincoln

Your final Business Centre location will be determined based on your location, suitability and the needs of the business.

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced Assistant Managers and Relationship Managers, supporting customers and developing your knowledge of banking, business and financial services.

You'll have the opportunity to:

- Complete administrative and operational tasks to support the banking team
- Support Relationship Managers with the day-to-day management of customer portfolios
- Assist customers with their everyday banking needs, including statements, account information and balances
- Complete daily reporting and assist with identifying and following up portfolio requirements
- Maintain accurate diary notes, records and documentation
- Complete compliance checks and follow banking policies and procedures
- Develop your understanding of financial services, banking and business operations




- Build professional relationships with customers, colleagues and key stakeholders

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

- Proactive, engaged and personable
- Organised with robust time-management skills
- Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
- Reliable, professional and committed to learning
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Confident using computers and technology
- Interested in building a career in banking, finance, business or relationship management

A background in banking, finance, accounting or administration would be advantageous, but is not essential. The right person will be provided with the training and support needed to develop their financial and banking knowledge.
