Job Description
An experienced legal professional is seeking to join the team within the Personal Injury Law department. This permanent, full-time position provides an exciting chance for a talented individual to contribute to a reputable legal practice at a newly opened branch in the eastern suburbs as the firm continues to grow.
As a Lawyer, the responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional legal advice and representation in personal injury cases
- Managing a caseload of personal injury matters from inception to resolution
- Conducting legal research and preparing documentation for court proceedings and negotiations
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders,
such as medical professionals and insurance companies, to build strong cases for clients
- Attending court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences on behalf of clients
- Staying up-to-date with legislative changes and case law related to personal injury claims
Desired Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate
- Demonstrable experience in personal injury law
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and case law
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
