Veterinary Nurse – Part-Time or Casual

Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join their busy and well-equipped small animal practice on either a part-time or casual basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinary nurse with at least two years of clinical experience who is looking for long-term employment within a supportive, professional team committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service.

Our client is a modern, fully equipped small animal hospital located in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
n
The practice is committed to providing a high standard of veterinary care and is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory facilities, dental equipment, ultrasound and orthopaedic surgical capabilities. The team prides itself on delivering excellent customer service while fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.

The Role
n
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing, including:
n

- Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
n
- Patient care and handling
n
- Reception and client service
n
- Assisting veterinarians with medical and surgical procedures
n
- Housekeeping and maintaining clinical standards
n
- Supporting and mentoring trainee veterinary nurses
n
n
About You
n
The ideal candidate will possess:
n
n
- A minimum of two years' veterinary nursing experience
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- A friendly, compassionate and professional approach to client care
n
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
n
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
n
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and continue developing professionally
n
- Reliability, dedication and a strong work ethic
n
- A genuine passion for animal care and nursing excellence
