We are currently looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team at our strawberry farm

Salary: $72,306 per year

This is a physically demanding and quick-paced role. Applicants should be prepared for long working days, early starts and working 6 days per week.

Requirements

Valid Forklift Licence is essential

Previous forklift driving experience is required

Must be confident and competent operating a forklift in a busy work environment

Good awareness of safety and surroundings

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual and able to commit to 6 days per week

Physically fit and comfortable working for extended periods

Ability to work early mornings through to late afternoon/evening, depending on daily operations

- Must be able to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods

Main Duties

Operating a forklift safely and efficiently throughout the site





Moving strawberry pallets from outside storage areas into the cool rooms

Moving strawberries from the cool rooms to the packing room as required

Loading and unloading pallets

Organising and positioning pallets in designated areas

Assisting with general warehouse and production movements

Following instructions from supervisors and responding quickly to changing operational requirements

Maintaining a clean and safe working area

- Completing all forklift operations in accordance with workplace safety procedures
