About us

Siam Orchid Thai Massage and Therapeutic Clinic has served the Canberra community since 2021. We operate two purpose-built clinics in Braddon and Gungahlin, with dedicated treatment rooms, reception and administrative support. Our team delivers evidence-informed remedial massage and traditional Thai therapeutic treatment to private clients, health fund members and referred clients seeking musculoskeletal and pain-management care.

We are a registered delivery site for HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage in partnership with Synergy Central Pty Ltd (RTO 31486), and we host a structured clinical training program with the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Burapha University, Thailand. About the role

We are seeking an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our clinical team on a full time basis. You will manage your own client caseload across both clinic locations, working within a supportive team environment with established administrative and reception support.

Your responsibilities will include

- Assessing clients and developing individual remedial massage treatment plans
- Delivering remedial massage therapy, including deep tissue, myofascial and trigger-point treatment for musculoskeletal and pain-management presentations
- Delivering traditional Thai therapeutic massage to recognised clinical standards
- Providing sports and injury-recovery massage
- Reviewing treatment outcomes and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and health fund rebate documentation
- Working within the clinic's scope of practice,



infection control procedures and professional standards
- Contributing to a positive client experience and supporting the clinic's reputation for quality care

What you will need

Essential

- HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage, or an equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
- At least one year of relevant experience as a remedial massage therapist
- Eligibility for a health fund provider number
- Current membership, or eligibility for membership, of a recognised professional massage association
- Current first aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain treatment plans clearly to clients
- Availability to work across both the Gungahlin and Braddon clinics
- Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration, or willingness to obtain

Desirable:
- Formal training or demonstrated competency in traditional Thai therapeutic massage
- Experience with deep tissue, myofascial release and trigger-point techniques
- Experience using clinic management and online booking software
- Availability for some weekend or evening shifts on a rotating basis
