About the role

You will focus on providing thorough skin cancer assessments, dermoscopy, biopsy procedures, and surgical/non-surgical treatments.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive full-body skin checks and spot checks
- Perform diagnostic biopsies and precise surgical excisions (including complex flap and graft procedures where appropriate)
- Educate patients on skin health, sun protection, and prevention strategies
- Utilise modern diagnostic technology and patient management software
- Collaborate with an experienced nursing and administrative support team

About you

- AHRA registration as a Specialist General Practitioner (FRACGP / FACRRM or equivalent)
- Post-graduate qualifications in Skin Cancer Medicine/Surgery (e.g., Certificate/Diploma from SCCA or HealthCert)
- Strong clinical skills in dermoscopy and surgical excisions
- Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
- Professional, empathetic patient care with excellent communication skills
