Role Description

One of the organisations we currently support is seeking a Governance & Compliance Officer to help strengthen governance, quality systems and compliance across the organisation.

This is a hands-on role supporting audit-ready documentation, governance processes, policy implementation and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with operational teams to help ensure service delivery aligns with the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements.

The position is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex work, has exceptional attention to detail, and wants to contribute to safe, high-quality service delivery. Previous NDIS governance experience is welcomed, but the organisation is also happy to support the right person to build their knowledge over time.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain organisational compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards.
- Support incident reporting and safeguarding processes.




- Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review, update and maintain policies, procedures and registers.
- Support staff with compliance documentation and training records.
- Prepare evidence and documentation for external audits.
- Monitor organisational risks and contribute to governance reporting.

About You

- Sound judgement, reliability and discretion
- Confidence working with documentation, spreadsheets and systems
- The ability to interpret written standards and apply them consistently

Desirable

- Experience in governance, compliance, quality assurance or NDIS
- Familiarity with the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct
- An interest in developing your career in governance and compliance

Essential Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Australian working rights.
