- Prepare and review project specifications, schedules, drawing registers, tender and contract documentation.
- Attend site inspections and project meetings, review construction progress and workmanship, and assist in resolving site and construction issues.
- Maintain project records, drawing revisions and document control to ensure current information is issued to the project team.
- Assist with project programming, fee and budget monitoring, and management of competing deadlines across multiple projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Victorian planning requirements, NCC requirements, Australian Standards, building regulations and relevant industry practices.

- Working knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), Victorian Building Regulations, relevant Australian Standards and Victorian planning requirements.
- Ability to prepare documentation suitable for planning permit, building permit, tender and construction purposes.
- Strong consultant coordination skills and the ability to review structural and building-services drawings against architectural documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret planning permits, endorsed drawings, building surveyor requirements, consultant reports and technical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence liaising directly with clients, consultants, builders, authorities and suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail and document-control discipline, particularly for drawing revisions, schedules and consultant information.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- A practical and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to independently identify and resolve design, documentation and construction issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small professional team while also taking ownership of assigned projects and tasks.
