THE ROLE Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an Estimator and Tender Coordinator to join our team on a full time basis Based at our Perth Office, this role offers exposure to a high-performing and progressive operation. The Estimator and Tender Coordinator is responsible for the preparation of cost estimates, pricing, and tender submissions throughout the tendering process. The role ensures that all estimates, pricing, supplier and subcontractor quotations, quantity take-offs, and tender documentation are prepared accurately and in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and submission deadlines.

Duties including but not limited to;

- Undertake quantity take-offs and measure works from drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
- Prepare cost estimates and pricing schedules for tenders and quotations.
- Source, review, and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations to support accurate and competitive pricing.
- Monitor tender portals, client communications, and industry networks to identify opportunities, and maintain tender registers and pipeline trackers.
- Coordinate tender programs, timelines, responsibilities, and bid requirements across relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare, format, and compile accurate and compliant tender submissions and supporting documentation.
- Maintain estimating databases, rates libraries, tender management systems, and current templates, ensuring accuracy and version control.
- Support post-tender clarifications, addenda, negotiations, and debriefs,



while ensuring tender pricing and documentation meet company and client requirements.

THE PERSON

- Trade, technical, or tertiary qualification in construction, engineering, quantity surveying, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Proven experience estimating and/or coordinating tenders within construction, engineering, or a related project-based industry.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with estimating software, advanced Excel, and document management systems.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, and take ownership of tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare explicit, professional correspondence with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent estimates and deadlines under pressure.
