The Role

Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Manager Community Services provides strategic leadership across Council's Community Development portfolio. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee community programs and services, build effective partnerships with government and community stakeholders, and drive initiatives that support social, cultural, and economic outcomes. This is a highly visible leadership position with the opportunity to influence strategy,



enhance service delivery and make a genuine impact across the community.

About You

You are a collaborative and community-focused leader with experience managing complex service delivery environments. Whether your background comes from local government, community development, social services, or a related sector, you bring strong people leadership skills, excellent stakeholder engagement capability, and a genuine appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. You are known for your ability to build relationships, inspire teams, and turn ideas into tangible results.
