We have an exciting opportunity in our NPD Team for an experienced NPD Food Technologist. Your role will include:

- Development and improvement of new and existing products, nutritional panels, ingredient lists, and PIF’s
- Creating & updating BOM’s, specifications, NIP and mixing instructions in MRP system
- Implement technical improvements in both sensory and nutritional profile for alternate ingredients
- Liaising with major customers on Private Label product changes
- Maintaining Coles and Woolworths portals for product specifications
- Assisting in the planning and execution of factory trials
- Assist with site compliance, Supplier audits and routine internal audits & inspections and complete reports
- Providing support and guidance to Food Technology team members
- Attending regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring legislation for food standards and external quality standards and processes are met

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:




- Tertiary qualification in Food Technology / Science
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
- Ability to bake with a very good understanding of ingredients and their role in baking
- Working knowledge of Coles & Woolworths development processes and specifications
- Experience with costing’s, recipe development and generation of Bills of Materials
- Ability to be analytical and solve problems, with strong creative and innovative thinking
