Export Administrator and Office Clerk

Superior Casings (Aust) P/L is Australia's premier provider of Natural Sausage Casings in Australia and along with Total Butcher Supplies, we service both the Domestic and Export Markets priding ourselves on our superior products and customer service. We’re located in Marrickville, 5 minutes walk from Sydenham train station.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, agile and proactive person to join our small team in a dual role as our Export and Administration Clerk. The position is a permanent part-time one working approximately 28 hours over 4-5 days per week, however we are flexible.

Duties may include -

· Export Administrator - the day to day running of the export program, working with the General Manager, you will book shipments with freight forwarders, preparing export documentation and document & shipping instructions, dealing with relevant government departments and liaising with export customers and our production team

· Customer Service – taking sales orders, responding to customer queries, tracking deliveries and assisting our sales team

· Reception duties – answering incoming phone calls,



filing, attending to business guests

· Administration – assisting Management, miscellaneous accounting and administrative tasks The successful candidate will be a motivated person who has the ability to apply their initiative to complete an ever changing variety of challenges.

Favourable Attributes/experience:-

· A good command of English

· Is highly organised

· Previous experience in an Exports Logistics role would be an advantage

· Previous experience working with DAFF also an advantage

· Food Safety/Quality Assurance experience would be of benefit

· Office Administation/Secretarial experience

· A focus on attention to detail

· Outstanding customer service skills

· A pleasant phone manner with proficient communication skills

· Experience in a broad range of office administration

· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

· The ability to work independently with initiative

· A dynamic approach to a large variety of tasks
