About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fabrication Salesperson to join our sales team at our Rocklea, Queensland location. This is a full time position that plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and building lasting customer relationships within the fabrication industry. As a Fabrication Salesperson, you will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored fabrication solutions that meet their specific requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the fabrication sector, generating leads and building a strong pipeline of potential customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Present and demonstrate fabrication products and services to prospective customers, highlighting features, benefits and value propositions




- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to customer requirements
- Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals whilst maintaining healthy profit margins
- Liaise with the technical and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations are managed effectively
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline progress using CRM systems
- Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to promote IDAMCO AUSTRALIA and expand the customer base
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and key performance indicators on a consistent basis

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Consultant, preferably within the fabrication, manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials and capabilities, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn technical product knowledge
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and achieve targets consistently
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging with customers at all levels




- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
- A customer-focused mindset with genuine enthusiasm for building long-term business relationships
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a competitive edge and drive to succeed
- Reliable transport and a valid Australian driver's licence
- Preferred: experience in the fabrication or allied manufacturing industries and knowledge of relevant industry standards and practices
