Our client is a highly regarded property organisation with a diverse portfolio of commercial assets. With a solid pipeline of refurbishment, capital works and fit-out projects, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects across their portfolio. This is an prospect to work on a broad range of building improvement, amenity upgrade and refurbishment projects within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Your new role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and asset management teams, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining strong governance and project controls throughout the project life cycle.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing end-to-end delivery of capital works, fit-outs, refurbishments and building upgrade projects.

- Developing and managing project programmes, milestones and deliverables.

- Coordinating consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.

- Conducting site inspections and overseeing day-to-day project delivery activities.

- Managing project risks, scope changes and stakeholder expectations.

- Ensuring compliance with planning approvals, building regulations and relevant legislation.

- Preparing project reporting, dashboards and presentations for senior management.

- Managing contractor performance, quality assurance processes and defect resolution.

- Overseeing project documentation, approvals,



inspections and handover requirements.

- Supporting both business-hours and after-hours project work where required to minimise disruption to building operations.

- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery practices and processes.

What you'll need to succeed

- Proven experience delivering commercial property, fit-out, refurbishment or capital works projects.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and project life cycle delivery.

- Experience managing contractors, consultants and multiple stakeholder groups.

- Knowledge of building compliance, WHS legislation and construction best practices.

- Strong programme management, budgeting and reporting capabilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience within commercial property, facilities management, construction or property development environments will be highly regarded.

- Exposure to platforms such as Microsoft Project, Yardi or similar project management systems is advantageous.
