About the Role A growing FMCG company is looking for a Commercial Analyst to join the team and work closely with Sales, Marketing and Finance to support the continued growth of the business.

Reporting to the Commercial/Finance lead, you will play a key role in analysing business performance, supporting customer and market opportunities, and helping the team make informed commercial decisions.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong analytical mindset who enjoys working across different areas of the business and wants to develop their commercial and financial skillset in a growing FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse international markets, competitors, consumer trends and category performance to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
- Research international health, wellness and beauty categories, including market size, value, performance and market share.
- Support analysis of customer and distributor landscapes to help identify potential routes to market.
- Assist with developing customer-specific pricing and promotional strategies.
- Support the development of customer propositions and presentations for retail partners.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of industry and customer events across the UK and European markets.
- Provide customers with ongoing support and information on the portfolio.
- Develop and maintain financial models and P&Ls; for assigned markets and customers.
- Assist with sales, cost and profitability forecasting and reporting.
- Conduct financial and cost-benefit analysis to support new market and customer opportunities.
- Monitor foreign exchange, taxes and other market factors that may impact profitability.
- Prepare regular reporting and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Support customer onboarding, portfolio setup and SKU commercialisation with retail partners.
- Develop and maintain customer and portfolio supply forecasts.




- Work closely with internal teams and third-party supply partners to support effective inventory and product flow.
- Assist in identifying and managing potential supply chain risks.
- Prepare presentations and analysis for senior management and the broader leadership team.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to support key business initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience

- CA/CPA qualified or studying towards qualification, or equivalent relevant commercial/finance experience.
- 2–4 years' experience in a Commercial Analyst, FP&A;, Management Accounting or similar role.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial models and large datasets.
- Experience with financial modelling, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into clear commercial insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business.
- Commercially minded with an interest in understanding what drives sales, margins and profitability.
- A hands-on, proactive approach and willingness to get involved across different areas of the business.
- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced and growing environment.
- FMCG, retail or consumer goods experience would be advantageous.
