ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation’s conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia’s history.
Our work is interesting and meaningful, contributing directly to Australia’s national security. We offer rewarding roles that provide the opportunity to grow your career, and the flexibility to balance life and work. A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.
About the Opportunity
Join ASC as a Learning & Development Coordinator and play a key role in helping our people build the skills needed to deliver nationally significant work and support ASC's digital future.
This role will provide dedicated learning and development support to the Digital Transformation Program (DTP), a strategic initiative designed to strengthen ASC's capabilities and enable new ways of working in an increasingly digital environment.
A key focus of the role will be supporting the PLM Transformation Program, which commenced in February 2025. This program is transforming ASC's engineering capability through the implementation of a modern Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, Siemens Teamcenter. The new system will connect people, processes and data across the product lifecycle, supporting the management of complex engineering, product information and supply chain workflows.
The program is being delivered in partnership with Deloitte.
Working closely with project stakeholders, subject matter experts, external training providers and the broader Learning & Development team, you will coordinate internal workshops, user training programs and learning activities to support readiness ahead of key project milestones and system go-live events.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the centre of both enterprise learning activities and a major transformation program,
helping employees build confidence and capability through change.
If you're organised, proactive, enjoy building relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.
This fixed term appointment goes till Oct 2028
