Troocoo Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse (NG6) for a rural and remote contract opportunity in Boulia, Queensland.
Located in an very remote community, this contract is ideal for senior clinicians who enjoy working across a broad scope of practice and are confident delivering high-quality care in a rural setting.
You'll have the opportunity to utilise your advanced clinical skills while working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team supporting the local community.
The Role
As a Clinical Nurse (NG6), you will provide safe, patient-centred care across a range of clinical areas and contribute to the delivery of healthcare services in a rural and remote setting.
This role requires a confident and experienced clinician with the ability to work autonomously, make sound clinical decisions and respond effectively in a diverse healthcare setting.
Clinical experience is required across:
- Acute Care
- Emergency Department
- Aged Care
Current competency is required in:
- Triage
- IV Cannulation
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

- Location: Boulia, Queensland
- Contract Start: 7 September 2026
- Contract End: 2 October 2026

About You
To be considered, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current experience at Clinical Nurse / Nurse Grade 6 level
- Extensive experience in Acute Care, Emergency and Aged Care settings
- Current competency in Triage, IV Cannulation, ALS and PALS
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Previous rural and remote experience highly regarded
