Our client is a highly regarded boutique advisory firm specialising in business turnaround and restructuring. They work closely with business owners facing financial challenges, helping them understand their options, regain control and, wherever possible, turn the business around rather than move towards formal insolvency.

They are seeking an Accountant who wants to take their technical skills in a different direction and build a long-term career in business advisory and turnaround.

The Role

Working closely with experienced Turnaround Practitioners, you'll become directly involved with clients and the commercial issues affecting their businesses.

Your new role would include:

- Financial and Operational Analysis
- Reviewing business performance, cashflow and financial position
- Developing turnaround strategies and recommendations
- Working directly with business owners throughout the turnaround process
- Project managing implementation of agreed strategies
- Assisting with negotiations involving banks, the ATO, creditors and other stakeholders
- Working alongside accountants, lawyers and other professional advisors

This is hands-on advisory work where you'll see the impact your advice can have on a business and the people behind it.

About You

You may currently be working in business services, public practice, insolvency, restructuring,



banking or corporate advisory and looking for something more commercially focused.

You'll ideally bring:

- Strong accounting and financial analysis experience
- CA/CPA qualification or progress towards qualification
- Good commercial judgement and problem-solving ability
- Confidence communicating with clients and professional advisors
- An interest in business advisory and turnaround

Previous insolvency or restructuring experience is not essential. Training and development will be provided.
