Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Pipeline Engineers to join our team in Brisbane on a 12 months contract.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of engineering design documents
- Responsible for pipeline design including tie-ins and crossing, right of way, development of alignment sheets and construction work packs
- GIS familiarity
- Provide technical guidance to designers
- Liaise with inter-discipline engineers, designers and specialist to understand project requirements.
- Assist in discipline front end and detailed design input to engineering projects
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project teams and clients
- Responsible for study, design, specification, and services related to the engineering discipline
Qualifications
- Must be degree qualified with at least 8 to 10 years’ experience, predominantly in the Oil & Gas sector
- RPEQ is preferred
- Experienced in engineering design including conceptual, FEED, detailed design and studies
- Capable of communicating and interfacing effectively with other disciplines, project managers, and clients’ representatives
- Must have strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards including AS 2885 and the APGA Code of Practice for Upstream Polyethylene Gathering Networks – CSG Industry
- Good analytical skills capable of writing transparent & concise technical reports
