We're currently looking for a Retail Supervisor to join our team at Village Bakehouse Bathurst.

Roster & Flexibility

n

We're open 7 days a week and offer a mix of morning, day, and afternoon shifts. Prefer not to work weekends? Only available Wednesday to Sunday? We're happy to chat about your preferred schedule - just let us know in your application!

About the role

n

As a Retail Supervisor, you'll support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store - keeping service smooth, the team supported, and customers coming back for more. You'll help set the tone and lead the way in delivering an exceptional Village Bakehouse experience.

n

What you'll be doing:

n

Positively represent and be an ambassador for the Village Bakehouse brand.

n

Supervise and coordinate the retail team to ensure smooth, productive store operations.

n

Ensure every customer receives prompt service and high quality products.

n





Respond to customer enquiries and resolve concerns in a warm, professional manner.

n

Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and support.

n

Monitor sales activity and ensure products are correctly priced and beautifully displayed.

What You Bring

n

Previous experience leading a team in retail, hospitality or fast-food service.

n

A food safety certificate is a bonus - but if you don't have one, we'll help you get it!

n

Barista experience is preferred but not essential.

n

A people-person attitude - you're approachable, reliable, and love a positive chat with the regulars.

n

Ready to be on your feet for your full shift and happy to help wherever needed.

n

Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
