Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst with strong P&C; Insurance Claims domain expertise. The role will involve requirements analysis, process improvement, functional documentation, and collaboration with business and technical teams across Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business/functional requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and requirement elicitation sessions.
- Create user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria .
- Analyze claims processes and identify improvement/automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with ClaimCenter developers, architects, QA, and product owners.
- Support ClaimCenter areas including FNOL, Claim Lifecycle, Exposure, Reserves, Assignment, Activities, Payments, Recoveries, Subrogation, Litigation, and Contact Management .
- Perform gap analysis and impact assessment.
- Support integration requirements with Guidewire and third-party systems.
- Lead/support UAT, defect triage, and business sign-off .
- Maintain BRDs, process maps, data mappings, use cases, and test scenarios.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and coordinate with onshore/offshore teams.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter .
- 2+ years of ClaimCenter project experience preferred.
- Experience in implementation, enhancement, upgrade, migration, or production support.
- Strong P&C; Insurance Claims knowledge across Personal & Commercial Lines.
- Understanding of claims adjudication, settlement, recovery/subrogation, litigation, and compliance.
- Business analysis, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Jira / Azure DevOps / Confluence.
- Agile/Scrum, UML/BPMN, process modelling.
- SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Understanding of Guidewire integrations with PolicyCenter and BillingCenter .
- Guidewire Cloud experience is an advantage.
Certification ⭐ Guidewire ACE Certification – ClaimCenter BA or related stream is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Insurance or Agile certifications are an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Guidewire Cloud migration/transformation experience.
- PolicyCenter/BillingCenter exposure.
- APIs, web services, integration patterns.
- Guidewire DataHub/InfoCenter.
- Digital claims transformation experience.
