BLK Hair Studio is looking for an enthusiastic Hairdressing Apprentice to join our growing team in Atherton. As our current first-year apprentice progresses into their second year, we now have an apprenticeship position available for someone ready to begin their own career in hairdressing.

We’re a modern, boutique salon that is passionate about beautiful hair, exceptional client experiences and developing the next generation of hairdressers. What You'll Be Learning

As part of our team, you’ll receive hands-on training and experience across all areas of the salon, including:

- Shampooing and basin services
- Blow-drying and styling
- Hair treatments and conditioning services
- Colour preparation and application
- Foiling and balayage techniques
- Toners and gloss services
- Hair cutting fundamentals
- Keratin and smoothing services
- Hair extensions
- Client consultations and salon communication
- Salon presentation and professional standards
- Retail and product knowledge
- Building confidence in delivering exceptional client experiences

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from experienced stylists and participate in ongoing in-salon education and training both locally and interstate.

Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour
