:

Grade 1 or 2 Hand Therapist – Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist

Full Time, Fixed Term until 7 January 2027

Join a supportive Hand Therapy team managing a diverse trauma caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings

Develop your skills through structured supervision, mentoring and professional development opportunities

About the role

Join our Hand Therapy team and work across inpatient and outpatient settings , supporting patients with a diverse range of upper limb and hand conditions.

You’ll manage a varied caseload, with a strong focus on traumatic hand and upper limb injuries , providing assessment, treatment, splint fabrication and discharge planning.

You’ll work alongside experienced Hand Therapists and a broader multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to build your clinical skills, contribute to education and develop your practice.

Grade 1: Receive structured guidance and supervision from experienced Grade 2 and senior Hand Therapists, with access to relevant education, courses and special interest groups.

Grade 2: Bring your established Hand Therapy skills and contribute to the supervision and education of Grade 1 clinicians,



students and Allied Health Assistants

About you

Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with experience in Hand Therapy or a strong interest in developing your skills in this area

Clinical knowledge and skills in upper limb and hand therapy, including plastics and orthopaedics

Ability to provide safe, effective and patient-centred clinical care

Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary environment

Ability to prioritise and manage a varied clinical caseload

Commitment to professional development, clinical education and evidence-based practice For Grade 2: minimum two years' clinical experience in Hand Therapy is preferred
