The Rusty Rabbit is looking for a creative, passionate and hard working chef to join our energetic team in DARLINGHURST Permanent full time position City location, close to public transport We are a busy growing café in the outer city area hoping to find a chef that can grow with us in our business and contribute to our success. The head chef will report to the restaurant manager and responsibilities are as follows: able to work weekends supporting in leading, mentoring and developing the team assume total responsibility of the section engage positively with the FOH team create daily specials rostering kitchen staff on a week to week basis cost control in the kitchen (wages & produce)

ordering produce whilst being able to work within budgeting menu development monitor, motivate and involve in food preparation, cooking and presentation quality control over every dish.



maintain health standards and cleanliness in the kitchen The job will be full time working between Monday to Sunday with two days off in between.

Successful applicants must have: must have minimum of 2 years of experienced in the same role must have a qualification as a chef knowledge about health safety procedures strong communication and interpersonal skills strong organisational skill and attention to details good personality and can work as a team good knowledge about breakfast and lunch menu passionate about food and creative If you have what it takes and are looking for a new challenge and exciting current adventure look forward to working with you.
