Role Description The Health and Safety Consultant is a full time, on-site role based in Perth, WA. This role involves conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend practical control measures. The consultant will design, implement, and review health and safety management systems, providing guidance to clients on legal obligations and best practice standards.

Day-to-day tasks include developing and delivering safety training and toolbox talks, supporting psychosocial risk initiatives, and contributing to safety culture and change programs. The consultant will also prepare clear reports,



action plans, and documentation, collaborate with client leadership and frontline teams, and support continuous improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing performance.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in health and safety disciplines, including Health & Safety and Occupational Health.
- Experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) frameworks and integrated safety management systems.
- Relevant health and safety certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Proven ability to design and deliver Training, workshops, and coaching sessions for diverse workforces.
- Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and psychosocial risk requirements, particularly in resources, construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and development of corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building abilities across frontline and leadership levels.
- Ability to work on-site across varied environments, with a practical, solutions-focused approach and sound problem-solving skills.
- Tertiary qualification in safety, occupational health, or a related field is highly regarded.
