We are looking for a reliable and or experienced Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver to join our team for local delivery work based from our Richlands depot. This is a great opportunity for a driver who enjoys local work and is looking for the opportunity to grow with the business in the future.
Key responsibilities
- Driving an HR truck for local deliveries throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas
- Completing deliveries and pickups safely and professionally
- Loading/unloading and securing freight as required
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the truck is kept clean and presentable
- Following all road, safety and workplace requirements
- Providing friendly and professional service to customers
- Work can operate Monday to Sunday, early, midday and late night starts depending on operational requirements,
About you
- Current HR licence
- Previous truck driving experience preferred
- Good driving history and safety record
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Physically capable of handling delivery work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability across different days and hours
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
