We are seeking reliable and motivated Hotel Services team members with commercial kitchen experience to join the residential aged care team at The Cove in Dudley Park, Mandurah on a permanent part-time basis .

As a valued member of our Hotel Services team, you will help maintain a clean, sanitary, well-presented and home-like setting. You will also provide efficient laundry services and assist with preparing meals and refreshments for Brightwater Care Group clients, while following health codes and regulations at all times.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in a similar position, including kitchen duties in a commercial kitchen. Experience in aged care will be viewed favourably.

To be considered for this rewarding role, you must be available to work at least three days per week, with preference given to candidates who are available on weekdays. A variety of shifts are available:

- AM shifts between 6.00am and 4.00pm
- PM shifts between 3.00pm and 7.00pm

Shift patterns and contracted hours will be negotiated with successful candidates. Candidates may also be considered for future similar vacancies.

Responsibilities include:

- Maintaining a clean, sanitary and home-like environment
- Supporting a quality meal experience for clients in line with aged care standards
- Ordering and maintaining cleaning and kitchen supplies
- Providing an efficient laundry service
- Complying with FoodSafe requirements and other health codes and regulations

To be suitable for this role, you must have:

- Previous experience in a similar role, including commercial kitchen duties,



preferably in aged care or a similar setting
- Knowledge of cooking and food preparation, including safe meal preparation and presentation
- Demonstrated understanding of food safety, including appropriate food temperatures and food temperature danger zones
- Knowledge of International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) levels
- Knowledge and experience in cleaning and/or laundry services
- A caring and positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, work effectively under pressure, solve problems and use resources safely, effectively and efficiently
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
- A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
