About the Role

Longitude 131° is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team and uphold the presentation standards of one of Australia's most celebrated luxury lodges.

In this role, you will oversee the daily servicing of our luxury tented pavilions, Dune House and public areas, ensuring every detail is immaculate and every guest arrival feels considered. You will lead, train and roster a small team, manage linen and supply logistics in a remote location, and work closely with the front office and maintenance teams to keep the guest experience seamless.

This is a residential role based at Yulara, with accommodation and meals provided.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading, training and rostering the housekeeping and laundry team
- Maintaining exceptional presentation standards across pavilions and public areas
- Managing room allocations, servicing schedules and turndown
- Conducting regular quality inspections and addressing issues promptly
- Overseeing linen, amenities and cleaning supply ordering and stock levels
- Coordinating with maintenance on defects and preventative works
- Managing labour costs, departmental budgets and consumable spend




- Ensuring WHS and chemical handling compliance across the department

About You You are a passionate and detail driven housekeeping leader who takes pride in presentation and enjoys developing a close knit team.

You will ideally have

- Experience in a Housekeeping Manager, Executive Housekeeper or senior supervisory role
- Background in luxury or 5-star accommodation
- Robust leadership and team development skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality standards
- Sound stock control, rostering and budgeting skills
- Comfort living and working in a remote, residential environment
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends
- Current Australian working rights
