The Opportunity You ll be delivering mixed general freight to a diverse customer base throughout Mackay, representing a respected transport operation known for reliability and service excellence.
This role is ideal for drivers who enjoy a mix of driving, customer interaction, and hands-on work.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Multi- deliveries across Mackay and surrounding areas
Loading and unloading general freight
Building positive relationships with customers
Operating delivery technology including PDAs and mobile devices
Following delivery schedules and communication requirements
Maintaining high safety standards at all times
Completing paperwork and electronic delivery records accurately
What We re Looking For
Current HR Licence
Previous experience in freight or multi- delivery operations
Solid knowledge of Mackay road network and surrounding areas
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Comfor manoeuvring into loading docks and confined delivery locations
Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling
Experience using handheld scanners, PDAs, or mobile technology
Reliable transport and a strong attendance record
Positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety
