We are working with an established business seeking an organised and detail-focused HSE Administrator to support its safety and compliance function from its Sydney office.
This is an office-based position focused heavily on administration, systems, compliance and keeping employee training and documentation up to date. For someone looking to move into the HSE industry, there is also the opportunity to be supported through a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety.
What’s on Offer
- $45–$55 per hour, depending on experience
- Ongoing casual contract, paid weekly
- Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm
- Sydney-based, office role

The Role You’ll work closely with the HSE and operations teams to ensure employee records, training, tickets and compliance requirements are accurate and up to date.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing HSE administration and compliance documentation
- Accurate data and system input
- Maintaining employee records, licences,
tickets and competencies
- Booking staff onto required training, courses and inductions
- Monitoring expiry dates and following up on outstanding requirements
- Organising and filtering through large amounts of documentation and data
- Assisting with building and improving administrative and compliance systems
- Maintaining registers, spreadsheets and internal databases
- Supporting the wider HSE team with general administration and reporting
About You
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working with systems, databases and large amounts of information
- Robust with data entry, record keeping and general administration
- Comfortable following up with employees regarding training and compliance requirements
- Able to identify gaps and help build better systems and processes
- Previous WHS/HSE or compliance experience is beneficial but not essential
- Interested in developing a longer-term career within HSE/WHS
