Position Overview

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the entire HR function. In this role, you will collaborate with leaders across Mammoth Underground to offer operational guidance and support for all people-related processes. We are looking for someone who is passionate about “getting things done”. You will be capable of operating at a high pace and will require limited direction.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the HR function for the operation

- Develop and implement a site HR strategy aligned to operational and business objectives.

- Provide trusted HR advise to the SLT

- Manage all day to day HR activity, including workforce management, policy and procedure interpretation and updates, EA guidance





- Manage employee development and succession planning

- Oversee Payroll and Accommodation function

- Drive employee engagement initiatives

About You (Skills & Experience)

- Tertiary qualifications in Human resources, or related field.

- 6 years of HR experience ideally in the mining or a similar industry

- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislative framework
- A flexible approach to work, content to work with leaders to provide strategic advice, but also complete a range of HR day-to-day tasks as required

- Ability to develop strong working relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders including senior management and above

- Solid time management and organisation capabilities matched with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
