About the Company Our client is a growing sub-aggregator within the mortgage and lending industry, supporting clients with their home loan and financing needs. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a Mandarin-speaking In-House Mortgage Broker to join their team.

About the Role

This is an in-house, client-focused mortgage broking position with a solid focus on converting warm leads into successful loan settlements.

The company will provide warm leads and existing customer enquiries, meaning the successful candidate will not be required to build a client base entirely through cold calling. You will engage with prospective clients, understand their lending requirements, recommend suitable finance solutions, manage the application process and follow up with clients through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and follow up on warm leads and inbound client enquiries provided by the business.
- Understand clients' financial circumstances, lending requirements and property finance needs.
- Recommend suitable lending products and solutions based on individual client requirements.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process from initial enquiry through to approval and settlement.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and follow up effectively to maximise conversion opportunities.




- Liaise with lenders and relevant internal stakeholders to progress applications and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate client records, application information and follow-up activities.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver a professional customer experience.
- Achieve individual settlement, conversion and revenue targets.

About You

- Previous experience in mortgage broking, home lending, banking or a related lending setting is preferred.
- Strong sales and client conversion skills, with the ability to effectively manage warm leads.
- Good understanding of the mortgage and lending process.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working towards sales and settlement targets.
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese is essential due to the client base.
- Relevant mortgage broking qualifications/accreditation will be highly regarded.
